Posted September 22, 2018 12:25:11 A wild-eyed cuba is heading for its own retirement in the sea after a wild weekend in the Bahamas.
The cuba, named Dora, was rescued by a tourist who spotted the animal in the ocean after the weather turned bad on Saturday.
Dora is now a resident of the Gulf of St Lawrence and has made a full recovery.
The tourist, who wishes to remain anonymous, said that he was walking Dora around his neighborhood when he spotted the creature.
The fisherman saw a large, blue fish swim near the water’s edge and approached it.
The fish attacked the cuba but managed to escape and swim back to shore.
Dita was found in the Gulf and was put down with no further treatment, according to the tourist.
The aquarium at the Bahamas Aquarium is planning to release Dora into the wild soon.
